Yesterday, Lut didn't pick me up from work, so I didn't go to the post office. But I did go today, and got my stories and envelopes and cover letters weighed and stamped and put in the mail. I have now, officially, attempted to get not one, but two short stories published by magazines which even pay money for contributions. By October, my first rejection letter should be in my hands. Woo!
I'm so proud of myself.
Now I'm going to see if this entry is too long for LJ to accept as a post.

Date: 2003-08-06 04:54 pm (UTC)Now I've got lots of envelopes and stamps so that it'll be even easier to do again. All I need now is to write more stories. Or get the ones I have written rejected, so I can submit them some place else. ;)
