Halfway

Eight years ago, I took out a mortgage and purchased a house.

 

As of today, that loan is less than half the original balance.

 

I still have five or six years left to go before it's paid off, but still.  Yay!

So... after 8 years... you still owe a bunch... and this is good news?

I think this is the real reason I never bought a house. I hate being in debt almost as much as Delight.

It does suck. Even if I don't hate it as much as Delight. Still, at least I'm starting to make progress on the mountain. n.n
