The Great Pacific Northwest Tour

rowynI'm going on one of my periodic trips to the Pacific Northwest today. Visiting that part of the country is always an adventure for me, because I know a ton of people in the area. Many of whom don't live within a hundred miles of each other. But they're still much closer to one another than my home is to any of them, so often if I get out that way I try to visit all of them.
Well, no, I don't try to visit all of them. I try to visit a large fraction of them, though. This trip will include four separate plane flights, two short train trips (or possibly a couple hundred miles of driving), four metropolitan areas, and two states. I plan to see: Lut's mother, an undetermined number of Lut's other relatives, two cousins, their spouses, an aunt and an uncle, five cousins-once-removed, one sister, one brother-in-law, one niece, two nephews, seven friends, and an undetermined number of friends-of-friends.
When I list it out like that, it sounds like an awful lot of people and traveling.
I'm skipping the trip out to Victoria this time 'round: instead, my Canadian friend is coming to Portland while I'm there.
We'll see how much of this trip I manage to record. I don't do a very god job about writing out my vacations, overall, but I'm still better about that than my everyday life. I'm more interested in remembering the vacations. ;)
