rowynI made brownies. That may be my big accomplishment for the day. Or failing, given that I don't really need to be eating brownies.
They're pretty good brownies, too. First brownies-from-scratch recipe I've used that I liked. It was a bit of a nuisance finding a recipe that I could make without going shopping. I only had two eggs and no baker's chocolate, which eliminated a surprising number of brownie recipes.
I've sent out a few emails, read up on LJ, and have been browsing the Wall Street Journal. It's been a pretty good day. Except that I'd like to write some fiction today. For some reason, I'm not feeling very motivated, as if my fingers want to type but my muse is still on some ride at Six Flags. Going whee! on the Dragon's Wing, probably. I'm almost tempted to start yet another fragment in Unfinished Tales. That is what UT's for, after all. But I haven't decided yet.
Apparently, though, I don't have anything to say beyond this, even in LJ. Maybe I'll open up one of my fiction stories-in-progress, put my fingers on the keyboard, and see if anything comes out.
