I would just like to note that some modern artists are completely awesome.

Wow. That IS incredibly cool. I, mere member of the public, can see and appreciate the symbolism (even if that might mean it diminishes the art's value in the eyes of critics ;) ).

And he sometimes uses Christian imagery in a way that's respectful! :D

So many of the Papercut designs are just wonderfully intricate, too, while even the simple ones are evocative. I like that his commentary on the works is interesting without being necessary (as opposed to the modern art that makes no sense without the artist explaining it).

It probably doesn't hurt that I love fairy tale themes and he uses them a lot, though. :)
