Birthday Wishlist
Sep. 16th, 2010 07:57 pmMy birthday is this Sunday, September 19, making this rather late for a wishlist, if I wanted physical gifts. But I don't, actually.
What I really want for my birthday isworld peace to hear from you.* Specifically, I'd love to get comments on the stuff I've written or drawn.
So here's a handy list of links to my oeuvre, or at least that fraction of it available online:
Art:
LJ Posts with images: These are the ones where the image links still work.
Writing:
The Unicorn in the Backyard: Short story of a mother and the unicorn who seeks her help to save his world. Again.
The Horse: A short story about falling off.
Rabbit Hole Day: Posts from a somewhat surreal universe, written in honor of
sandratayler's birthday. I mean, Lewis Carroll's birthday.
Word of the Indefinite Time Period: Flash fiction stories, each featuring an unusual word.
delight_in_wt: the journal of a long-winded otter-girl with a short attention span.
I Fail at Life: A gaming metaphor for my life.
And if you want to leave an early present, just put "birthday" in the subject line. I promise I won't open it 'til Sunday. :)
* Although if you can arrange world peace, that would be TOTALLY AWESOME. I'm just sayin'. No pressure.

Date: 2010-09-20 12:39 am (UTC)By the way, I LOVED "Unicorn in the Back Yard." The funny thing is, when I read it, I felt so conflicted: On the one hand, I feel like there's so much more story that I'd be interested in hearing, and yet on the other, I feel like I already ought to "know" enough about the tropes of "child-in-fantasyland" stories to be perfectly satisfied with just this short story to get the idea. It's perfect. =)
(Plus, you know, it has a UNICORN. That helps.)
