The mind boggles.

I am glad I walk to work, but even if I didn’t, it’s nice to know I’ll probably never be stuck in traffic for eleven days. o.O

I'm in Canada but do I ever empathize. I pay $520 per month 25 miles out in the suburbs for a suite that would cost me easily $1000 to $1200 any closer to town. And with the exorbitant cost of transit out here, even with insurance and maintenance costs owning a car only costs me about $20 more per month than a bus pass, gets me downtown twice as fast (45 minutes versus nearly two hours) and is available 24 hours a day instead of ending at 9:30 pm on weekdays, 8:30 on weekends (meaning I would never be able to do anything downtown in evenings).

Yeah; I deliberately got a house near a major bus line so busing wouldn't be too inconvenient, but I'd still much rather borrow Lut's car than take the bus, in general. The problem of housing vs transportation costs is pretty bad in most of the first world, too. v.v

Did you see that it disapeared? Some one sent a few reporters down to it and it was gone, just the normal road trafic was there. makes the mind wonder....

I heard! The Wall Street Journal followed up with an article about how it's easier to measure traffic than it is to figure out why jams happen or how to alleviate them. O:)
