I have trouble understanding why this isn't already the situation. The closest thing to a reason for hospitals to object that I can come up with is that there might be practical limits on the number of simultaneous visitors, but that at most requires that hospitals ask patients to prioritize -- not for hospitals to have an arbitrary "family only" rule.
