Warhammer: Age of Reckoning

Warhammer: Age of Reckoning is a new MMORPG coming out on September 18th. Lut has been a fan of the Warhammer setting for a long time. It was originally a miniatures wargame setting, and we've got Eldar and Genestealer Cult armies from the Warhammer: 40,000 version boxed up in the basement.

So we're in the Open Beta for the MMORPG now, and planning to play WAR when it gets released. Anyone else planning to pick it up?

Hi! Yes, I've pre-ordered it and plan to be an elven White Lion. KITTIES! ^_- It'll have to do a lot to pull me from wow, but I will give it some playtime nonetheless. I'll be on a non-PvP server and wouldn't mind hooking up with you guys :)

Cool! Lut prefers Order to Destruction and I don't really care, so we'll probably be mostly on as Order, too. Drop me an email at my LJ address (username @livejournal.com) and whoever picks a server first can email the other with the name? :)

I'll be trying it, but will have to be very good to drag me from EQ2.

From what I can tell, it's got a lot of things in cmmon with EQ2 and WoW. I'm not sure this is a good thing. :) If you drop me an email at my LJ address (username @livejournal.com), I'll let you know what server we're on at release. Or you can let me know, if you get in first. :)

(I'd need two things - to know where the RP is, and to have some idea of where to find some RP to get involved in - because the setting as a whole confuses me enough that i'm not bubbling with concepts for it.)
