Oh! What unrelated coincidence! I recognize that horse! (I just had to draw a map of "Uffington Castle" and the surrounding area this week for a last-minute project.)

You made me curious about Uffington Castle. Not much "castle" left is there?

Yeah. And by what I read, it looks like there never was - it only had a bunch of wooden posts and a few piled rocks at some point, it's supposed. Kind of like "Star Fort" (which I've visited, since it's near my wife's home town) in Ninety-Six, South Carolina. "Castle" seems a bit off. More like "Uffington Mound" or "Uffington Big Lump of Dirt." But "Castle" does sound a lot more interesting for the tourists, I'm sure!

Well I think it translates as...

"In Sunken R'lyeh Great Cthulhu doth lie,
something, something... even death can die"

... though I'm not sure. Maybe a 'Stars are right' is in there someplace.

Cthulhu fthagn is 'Cthulhu waits', I think. It was used separately at some point.

That is not dead which can eternal lie;
And with strange æons, even Death may die.

When I realize it had Maurice LaMarche playing Egon Spengler and that dude who did Garfield's voice in the cartoon playing Peter Venkman, I realized it was a lot better than it had a right to be.

(then Bill Murray gave his voice to the movie Garfield and completed the circle. Now if only Harold Ramis voices the Brain in the inevitable horrible CGI movie remake of P&tB.)

I didn't watch it much, but every time we're playing an RPG and get a choice between three doors, and the thing we're looking for is behind the first one we pick (or they all go to the same place), Murdock quotes it.

"And behind door number three is... door number one!"
