I'm not really closeted about anything, in the strictest sense, but there're a bunch of things I rarely talk about because I don't like to create conflicts.

So, in the name of being open about the various conflict-creating aspects of my life:

I'm still bisexual and polyamorous. I'm still libertarian and I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats. I'm still glad I voted for George W. Bush in the last election. I still believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and my personal saviour, and I still believe evolution is the theory which best explains the scientific development of life on Earth.

There, there's something on that list for nearly everyone to dislike. Not everyone, though: some of you are really hard to phase.

ah, but you haven't hit any of the really fun points.

  • You enjoy sex with people you enjoy sex with. Pretty normal.

  • You like personal liberty, and vote for people who agree with your view on how to govern the country. Normal, again, I hope....

  • Being GLAD you voted for GWB might not be the majority any longer, but given alternatives, I'd go with that choice in hindsight...

  • Personal religious belief that doesn't proselytize cause conflict? I thought we were in 2007, not 1607...
  • The hypothesis of evolution seems pretty hard to support on evidence - much like any other hypothesis about the emergence of life on earth. People hang belief on various hypothesis in that space all the time, and seem to get AWFULLY hung up on those beliefs...

Nah, FUN is things like where to draw the lines of acceptable duress to use as the backing for an interrogation, and what criteria can be used to determine where and what the lines are. THEN you can get 'good' conflict.

Yeah, guess that puts me on hard-to-pleasephase.
