National Coming Out Day

I'm not really closeted about anything, in the strictest sense, but there're a bunch of things I rarely talk about because I don't like to create conflicts.

So, in the name of being open about the various conflict-creating aspects of my life:

I'm still bisexual and polyamorous. I'm still libertarian and I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats. I'm still glad I voted for George W. Bush in the last election. I still believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and my personal saviour, and I still believe evolution is the theory which best explains the scientific development of life on Earth.

There, there's something on that list for nearly everyone to dislike. Not everyone, though: some of you are really hard to phase.

*grin* I like you, and I can relate so much to the whole multifaceted thing. You're much braver than I am about letting all of your different aspects be shown to everyone.

I'm pretty timid about it, really. I mostly keep to myself. It's safer to squeak up in my own journal than on that of someone I disagree with, though. There's a 'say nothing if you have nothing good to say' bias for most people that deters all of us from arguing with the author of the host journal unless encouraged to do so. :)
