Lut and I were shopping last night. Coke has started packaging their products with winter-themed labels.

Lut [reading the label]: "'Give love'."
Me [also reading]: "'Give, live, love'. Oh, wait, there aren't any commas. So 'Give live love!'" [with 'live' pronounced in adjective rather than verb form].
Lut: "Because giving dead love is illegal in fifty out of fifty states."

And y'know, if they meant it the other way, i.e., a list of things to do, it seems a rather odd order to put it in. I mean, if you aren't already living, than what's the purpose of giving? (Ooh, that sounds like a slogan of some sort.) And it seems pointless to love long after the giving and living have already occurred, though I suppose it could all be simultaneous. Still, I think it should have been "Live, Love, Give."

Dangit, why don't they consult me about these things?
