Sweet Somethings

The green glow of the alarm clock read 6:20. Lut sighed and snuggled closer to me. "I'll have to call in," he said. "Tell them I'll be four hours late because my girlfriend's too cuddly."

I gave him a sleepy smile, resting my head against his arm. "Do you think they'll buy that?"

"Of course they will. All I have to do is bring you in to work, and then you can give them a hug and they'll see what I mean."

I giggled.

"They'll say, 'You were only four hours late for this? Man, it should've been six.'"
