LOL! I suppose I'll tell Gary to go see it without me. I can't think of too many movies that look less interesting. I know, I know, I'm a freak. But I hated Nemo and I'm hearing a lot of "if you loved Nemo, you'll love this!!!"

I thought Nemo was okay, but I was pretty underwhelmed by it.

Other than being 3D animation, "The Incredibles" is nothing like "Finding Nemo", IMHO. Different story, different emphasis, different genre, different everything.

And "The Incredibles" was amazingly well done. Great characters, good voice acting (had Samuel Jackson in it), consistent story. It had a lot of humor in it, but the humor worked with the story -- it wasn't just vehicle to drive jokes.

On the other hand, it would definitely qualify as a "scary movie" by small children standards.

It really was a well-executed and clever comedy, in fact. The interpersonal interactions were not focused on fourth-grade bathroom humor, as is the case with too many movies these days.

Many of the comedic aspects will not be appreciated by very young persons, and this is as true of the serious aspects. But my Lady and I are not very young, and enjoyed it immensely. ];-)
