Conventionally Speaking
Sep. 15th, 2004 01:35 pmI'm thinking of going to a furry con next year, probably either Further Confusion or Anthrocon. My main interest in going to one of these events is to meet more of my Internet friends in person. So if you plan to attend to one of those cons, and would like to meet me, please leave a note. Expected probability of your attendance would also be nice (eve FC is still a few months out and I don't expect most people to have firm plans for either con yet.)
If you're not going to either but would like to sell me on going to a different con, feel free to note that and the advantages of the alternative con (other than your expected presence at it, which is likely to be the biggest draw for me, but bonus attractions are always nice.) :)

Date: 2004-09-15 12:33 pm (UTC)You missed the Great BarbX Party of Anthrocon 2004. It's too late now. It was glorious.
Further Confusion 2005 is most unlikely. I am about 50% likely to make an appearance at Anthrocon 2005 with another BarbX Party.
None of the other conventions I am attending are worth traveling long distances for.
If we are both at Anthrocon 2005, attending the BarbX Party is mandatory. Thank you for your cooperation, citizen.

Megaplex - The con would be interesting, but it's the stuff around the con.
You can stay at my place! well... y'know assuming I'm still here.

Date: 2004-09-15 05:25 pm (UTC)The best reason to go to Further Confusion is the sheer number of events. It had well over 120 events last year. In comparison, AnthroCon had fewer events.
