Jun. 23rd, 2004 06:57 pmA friend of mine works at the Lincoln Campus Library. Like all libraries, the Lincoln Campus Library needs more books. My friend had the bright idea of making an Amazon wish list for the library, and soliciting contributions that way. If you want to buy a book for the library, just click the link and buy one -- Amazon will ship it directly to the library for you. (You can also find them by searching for "Lincoln Campus Library" on Amazon.com's wish list.)
For my own part, and with
sythyry's kind permission (thank you, Sythyry!) I'm doing a charity auction on FurBid on behalf of the library.

The auction's here.
If you'd like to donate to the library directly, you can buy a book from Amazon using the library's wishlist

Neat!

Date: 2004-06-25 07:08 am (UTC)So c'mon, folks! My library really needs some more empty shelf space taken up by useful books! Seriously. (You know, one of these days I ought to post a picture of the shelves to let people know just how much we need those resources...)
