A friend of mine works at the Lincoln Campus Library. Like all libraries, the Lincoln Campus Library needs more books. My friend had the bright idea of making an Amazon wish list for the library, and soliciting contributions that way. If you want to buy a book for the library, just click the link and buy one -- Amazon will ship it directly to the library for you. (You can also find them by searching for "Lincoln Campus Library" on Amazon.com's wish list.)

For my own part, and with sythyry's kind permission (thank you, Sythyry!) I'm doing a charity auction on FurBid on behalf of the library.

I love Bard's writing style, and the way Sythyry's journal is about a life, rather than being a story. It doesn't feel like fiction to me; it's more like reading the livejournal of someone who just happens to be from a different universe with different physical laws. Okay, so zie's a bit weird, but aren't we all? :)

(Incidentally, the glossary and dramatis personae is quite helpful for getting used to the setting, too.)
