And Talk about the Weather

The good new about the weather is that it's not snowing. The bad news is, it's been raining off and on all day, and somehow I doubt that anyone's going to go up to my roof and bang away on it on this sort of day. Worse, it's still supposed to snow tonight, and it won't get much above freezing until Thursday, so it probably won't melt quickly if it does. And there may be more snow over the weekend. Sigh. Darn roof. At this rate, I may have to wait until spring, after all, and just hope that it's not irreparable by then. Bleah.

I was trying to motivate myself earlier to write something -- anything -- for UnfinishedTales -- but no luck so far. I did some random sketching instead. I'm afraid they're going to take away my creator's license if I don't start producing something soon.

Wow, this isn't even much of a journal entry. Well, back to work, just the same.

Well, let's see. What's the checklist of what stories you've started, and where you left off?

Um ... you mean current ones?

* Prophecy -- rough draft is 2/3rds to 3/4ths complete, with almost all of the first part done, but a good chunk of the second part still to go. The last thing I worked on was Mariel's first meeting with Jorum.

* Silver Scales -- this is, I don't know, about a third complete, at a guess. The next part would probably be Zenobia's reaction to her continued tutoring in practical magic. Last part was Roche, Kildare, and Madden discussing advertising methods.

* Triskelion: Left off with Tara agreeing to go with Oo'a'una to witness an esoteric Triskelion struggle. So the next part should be Tara finding out what it looks like in person.

* Chang Juan's story: Left off with Chang Juan going to see what had her caster all in a huff.

* Tachtli: This is the story I was going to write next, with the "She gave the god her left hand and hoped it would be enough" opening line. I've a rough outline of the plot on this story, but never started it.

I think that's everything in the "recently in production" bin, apart from a sort of fanfic idea I've been tossing around in my head since talking to Koogrr.
