The trouble with a slice-of-life story that's actually from my life is that I can't say that I'll ever know what the backstories are, to be able to reveal them. I've got another slice from this tale up now, but it only makes the puzzle more complex, not less.
Your suggestion is alliterative, though! But she has not yet worn any tattersall, that I've seen. I do try to be kind, or at least neutral, in the nicknames I assign -- which does let out using "tart". :)
