people who, upon learning that I draw comics, show an interest in seeing them, only up viewing to say, "Oh. You mean comic strips." As if they're inferior just because they're never made into "graphic novels", or movies, or whatever.
Well, phooey on them. Comic strips are just as worthy of attention as comic books. :)
