I agree that "Watchmen" belongs to the "superhero genre", but it's still very different from reading a book like Spiderman or Daredevil. Maybe we could class material like "Watchmen" and "Wild Cards" as being in the "superhero genre" but not "superhero titles", or something like that. Something to show the distinctly different philosophies and story-telling styles at work. :)
