So. We had outdoor cats. Who all had kittens around the same time. To protect them, I wedged the window to my bedroom open, and all the cats would jump in over my bed and nurse the kittens in this throw-rug style of kittenpile in the floor.
This once resulted in me finding, in the morning, a dead rodent about the size of one of the smallest kittens, which gave me a fright till I got a better look. Then I realized a cat jumped over my bed with that thing in the middle of the night. *headdesk*
They also brought in a snake in two halves. Which was still moving and opening its mouth. CREEPY.
Anyway, they brought in fleas. I... kind of moved out of that room and closed the door and didn't sleep in there for a while. >_>
When we did go in to set off a flea-bomb -- it was summer, so wearing shorts -- the little buggers JUMPED ON LEGS up to the knees, black all over, AUGH! IT WAS TERRIBLE! Ran outside and slapped them off after setting off the flea-bomb can. *shudder*
