Ah, I guess that's a new* feature. My model of phone does not support it, but presumably some new phone I might buy could.
I did not have good luck with getting my phone connectivity through a friend's mobile hotspot when I was in Europe a couple of years ago, but I suppose that could be different in time, too. I'm guessing the mobile keyboard is still a better bet. -_-
