Ah, I understand. Yes, sounds like maybe a bluetooth keyboard like Terrycloth suggests down there might be more the thing. What app do you use to write in? Google docs? I've my writing on the google drive, but in odt. files, and it doesn't seem like libre office has a proper mobile app yet... <.< no writing on the go for me, I guess!
