Well, drat, I didn't know about this eclipse, until I read foxmagic's journal and learned about it well too late. Tsk. I'm just not up on things.
Hurrah for your muse! Though I admit some disappointment at you not capturing any dreams.
I remember fragments from some of my own dreams, but they've been largely uninteresting as of late. Sometimes, it will seem as if there's a fragment of a story going on, but things so quickly shift from one thing to another. There's not enough of any one "story" strung along for me to have anything worth reporting.
If there are any themes, though, for some reason Star Wars has been figuring in a lot. I've had a lot of dreams about being in something vaguely resembling the Star Wars universe (though only barely - largely just reinforced by this feeling in my brain that "This is the Star Wars universe" without much reinforcement by actual content). I recall one dream where I was being hunted down by members of "Rogue Squadron," including a couple of self-styled Jedi in their number, in the post-Empire era. I was cast in the role of a TIE fighter pilot, trying to keep from being blown to smithereens by the lot of them. It basically consisted of me flying and spinning the thing around a great amount of floating debris in space, weaving into tight holes, and narrowly avoiding obstructions (or occasionally glancing them and sending sparks flying from the panels) ... and then on occasion seeing something like one of the hot-shot pilots turn the corner and encounter the opening that was only barely large enough for ME to get through, and ... well ... BOOM. Then lots of radio chatter as the surviving "heroes" pledge that I'll pay for that. And I wasn't really happy about it, because I knew these were "good guys," and I didn't want them to get blown away. I just wasn't keen on the idea of being reduced to space dust myself. The dream "morphed," as dreams often do, into something entirely different, before I got to find out whether I got away or not. ;)
