The bit about flipped-over puzzle pieces was an interesting way to put it. It felt very much in character for Wisteria (who I can totally imagine spending many enjoyable hours solving huge and complex ones, though perhaps moreso when she was younger, before Vasilver Trading provided even more interesting ways to engage her intellect), and explained a bit of why they took so long to figure it out.
