Haha, yes, like, A LOT! And half of FA (which I enjoyed very much, thanks for writing!) wouldn't happen... I quite admire the way you write these boys so realistically flawed, it's really something I struggle with in my original characters (and maybe fanfic ones, too...) It makes them so much more *people*- they have their edges, perfectly understandable ones, and sometimes those grind against each other and produce entirely believeable conflict. Your characters aren't naive, or stupid, or needlessly, neurotically dramatic. Yes, their problems can be traced back to misunderstandings and bad communication, like in so much of romance. But it's not a silly "but I saw him talking to that pretty guy/girl in vaguely suspicious circumstances, he must be in love with them, not me, woe is me!... Oh, it's your *insert convenient relative here*, or what have you- it's not contrived, conflict for the sake of plot but with characters that are just too perfect to have actual flaws. Nope, this is entirely understandable- Nikola's mix of pride and insecurity, Justin's reluctance to make himself vulnerable- who hasn't been there? Anyway, I'm rambling, but what I want to say is: Your characters are amazing! Write more? ;-)
