Everquest had Create Water! Because characters had to eat and drink. Doesn't WoW have spells for that too? I know they have food & drink in the game.
I was thinking in part of Magicka, where the spells had a lot of unanticipated but logical interactions, like: you can use water spells to cancel fire effects, you can't cast fire magic while wet, you will electrocute yourself if you use lightning spells while wet, etc.
But Space Otters is a far-future setting, so their games probably have a lot of 'the computer figures out interactions based on vague guidelines' instead of programmers having to think of every potential use case and code for it.
