Lifting Weights Takes Too Long
Jun. 21st, 2012 09:01 pmI am looking forward to being familiar enough with the routine that I don't have to keep looking up how to do exercises. 90 minutes to run through everything is a big bite out of my evening. x.x

Date: 2012-06-30 12:26 pm (UTC)I've gotten it down to 30 or 40 minutes, now that I'm not looking everything up. Which means I should be able to start putting cardio back in. Lately I've been doing either cardio or weightlifting, but not both on the same day. And since I've been alternating upper & lower body workouts on different days and want to do each set at least twice a week, this means I'm only doing cardio twice a week. Which is not really what I want.
I don't think I'm going to convince myself to spend a couple of hours a day on exercise, but 60-70 minutes again is not out of the question -- I was doing about that when I started back in 2006, but it's gradually shrunk down to 30 minutes. I'll keep you posted!
