There are some things I really like about owning a house, but the idea of moving is just ... EEEEEE. I don't regret buying right now, but if I ever do move, I'll probably regret it then. And the thing I like best about where I live is walking to work, which I couldn't do without owning (no rentals near the bank). But that's a function of my area, not an argument for homeownership in general.
