The Future Now

rowynThis morning, as I walked to work, I took out a pair of headphones and pulled up an episode of "My Little Ponies: Friendship Is Magic" to watch while I was walking.
I thought about two things while I did this. First, I'm kinda old for this cartoon.
Second: that watching cartoons while walking is exactly what my ten year-old self thought the future ought to include. Inside of me, she's smiling.
