Well, on the bright side of stocks: unless the whole market collapses, the odds are the crappy funds of today will start turning a profit again sometime in the next two or three years.
But I'll also say: ouch! I put all my 401k money into stocks because I don't need the money any time soon and I'm not into market-timing. But we did get our pick from ten funds, at least two which were pure-bond or money market funds. So if I *wanted* to go ultra conservative, I could. But I don't. ;)
