NYC strikes me as the kind of place that's far more fun to visit if you know someone there.
Also, I remember having said that Dippin' Dots quote, but I forget when. Ironically, I just had some this past weekend, for what I had thought was the first time -- apparently I'd mentally blocked the initial encounter.
