Lyme disease symptoms are very similar to symptoms for strep -- sore throat, fever, malaise,... But there's usually the addition of a rash, and it's usually in the form of what's called a bulls-eye lesion; a tiny red spot (probably the bite site), surrounded by a ring of white, which in turn is surrounded by a ring of red.
