I miss that about have a longer commute too. But it's good I don't live so far away now with gas getting so high.
I have no use for homeowners associations and I don't like the look of identical, perfectly manicured lawns. If I had my way, I'd let it all go back to nature. Although, if I had my way I'd be living in the country. :-/
Don't feel bad, my lawn is a garbage magnet as well.
