Further Arrangements was planned as a collection because I'd started writing "His Angel" before I finished ARA. So I wanted to publish "His Angel", but since novellas don't sell well by themselves, I figured I'd write a few other stories to go with it.
At that point, my lesson from ARA was "I am bad at estimating length". The stories for Further Arrangements also ran longer than I expected, and meandered off course a bit, but not nearly to the degree that ARA did.
