This proposal is written by a libertarian, published in the Wall Street Journal, and suggests a replacement for America's existing welfare system (in this case, I believe, refering to all entitlement plans, from welfare to unemployment insurance to Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid). It's nothing new for libertarians to want to ditch these systems, of course. But what I find particularly intriguing about it is that I think
apanthropomorph and some of my other liberal friends would actually like the suggested alternative.
