Guess which law I actually like
Jul. 16th, 2004 01:17 pmToddler Bank is having its employees go through online training courses on security and compliance regulations. This is an annual process for banks, because there's so much turnover both in employees and in regulations that we're supposed to follow.
A couple of days ago, I went through a course on the Bank Secrecy Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. It was subtitled "Fighting Crime and Terror". It should have been further subtitled "By Tracking Every Financial Move Your Customers Make and Reporting Them to Big Brother". I got an 80% on it, which is just barely a passing grade.
Today, I finished the course on the Privacy Act. I got a 100% on that one.
Next up: The Patriot Act.
...
I'll probably have to sit through this one twice to pass it.
*sigh*
