Why I Hate the US Tax code

Prester_Scott made a parenthetical reference in this entry: "Anyone having to pay less income tax is a good thing, all other things being equal."

This remark prompted a long diatribe from me against the tax code, and rather than spamming poor Scott's journal with it, I figured I'd just make an entry of it.
