My own tastes have broadened, I think, and I find myself surprised at some of the songs that I heard so many times that I automatically enjoy hearing them now.
But I shall take careful note of the Lady Rowyn's complaint, and be quite cautious about not using THAT phrase in any poetry! ];-)
Oddly, I don't find it as cringeworthy as she does...
