Wow, a fellow fan and I didn't even know it. Alas, I'm only familiar with Mindcrime and Empire, not any of the older or newer stuff. I sold my copy of Mindcrime years ago, but still have a beat-up, scratched CD copy of Empire - it skips in the middle of Silent Lucidity (or rather Silent Luciditytytytytytytyty).
I'm alway reminded of Mindcrime whenever I watch TV shows or movies set in a hospital. The "Doctor Blair, Doctor J Hamilton" PA system announcement seems to be a stock sound effect.
If you want to pick up Empire on CD, they re-released it last year with bonus tracks including a cover of Scarborough Fair, originally by Simon and Garfunkel.
