I TOTALLY understand what you're going through and am feeling the stress here too...
We get back from NY just after Thanksgiving or just before the first of the month. The first week of the month, we have a FHA inspection. The second week of the month, we find out what needs to be fixed. The third week of the month we work on the repairs (billed to the mortgage company I THINK, I need to check on that), the fourth week of the month we wrap up everything and we have an appointent on Dec 30 at 11AM to close.
