I couldn't find a text color button that did html code (one that'd change its appearance in the typing window, but not one that affected the posted text). The version I have has everything else, though, including the spell checker, which I guess was a 1.3* upgrade. It seems to be current in everything except the "about" window. Very strange. And when I tried running the uninstall again, Windoze said it couldn't find the uninstall file.
I think I'll just file this as "things not to worry about". I'm so in the habit of typing in the basic html tags that most of the time I don't even use the features of Semagic that I've got. Though I really should use it for the lj user tags -- I am continually typing "lj-user" instead of "lj user" and getting "bad LJ tag" errors. Phah.
