In other news:

I have maple sugar candy!

Even the problems of a leaky basement fade in comparison with maple sugar candy.

Mmmm.

Thank you [livejournal.com profile] sophrani! *HUG*

*hugs back*

You're welcome! Apparently, the maple sugar candy arrived at just the right moment. My timing is improving. ;-)

Okay, so what if I tried to give you some while you were sleeping? How would that work? (I suppose I could leave it under your pillow, like the Tooth Decay Fairy might... Hmm.)

Feel free to smack me, I'm being a real wiseass tonight. :D

Hee! Point well taken. Therefore, I will continue to send you maple sugar candy at random intervals. ;-)

Only thing better than Quebec maple sugar candy maybe is REAL maple fudge....

Or going to a sugaring off, and having hot syrup poured over snow cones, that turns it into taffy,
Or real lumberjack flapjacks with maple syrup, or maple walnut pie, or beaver tails....

Never mind, it's all maple heavenly goodness *grins*

I've had the pleasure of dining at a sugarbush.

It is possible to get too much of the stuff, but one has to apply oneself quite seriously to the task. ];-)
