Someday I'm Bound to Fail

But not today.

9564 words on "Prophecy" for the month of April.

Maybe even a little more if I decide to finish up this scene I'm working on. But I probably won't, because, you know, I've ground out nearly 3500 words in the last two days and I'm tired now.

Do I hear just a touch of "I can quit any time" in that?

I am very pleased for you, my friend. I understand something of the significance of this.

Bravo!

Go you! You're my heroine! =D You know, I'm up horribly late tonight, but I am in such a better mood now. I get news that my dad has stuck to his project, and put together his airplane, so that (pending FAA certification) it's actually airworthy ... and then I hear that, despite you being behind on the word count, you pull through and make your quota. Yes! It is possible for real people, people I actually know, to meet goals, and to succeed! This sounds terribly hokey, and I have no idea how to properly explain it, but you just have no idea how much hope that sort of thing gives me. Keep at it! Rah, you! =D
