Lut took me to a couple of art supply stores today, where I bought Yet More art supplies, in preparation for my plan to do a 24 hour comic on Tuesday. I decided I didn't want to burn the whole weekend on it, which is why I'm not doing it today. I considered doing it Monday, but I don't want to feel obligated to go to bed early on Sunday. Plus, Tuesday is the summer solstice, and that seems like an auspicious day for a project.

So instead, I've been encouraging barbx's author in pursuit of a similar-but-different challenge today -- trying to write the entire prequel to BarbX's story in 24 hours. I've read the story so far and the writer is doing a good job. It's quite impressive for a creative work done on a deadline; you can tell a lot of thought has gone into it.

Now, I think I'll either play a game with Lut, or go play with my new art supplies.

I read through all this backwards; it was like a cross between "Memento" and "The Joy of Painting". ':)
