Of the three protagonists, Justin is the most conventional, really. :) But Justin is a secure, confident man: he doesn't need other people to reinforce his place in the social order, and consequently he doesn't much care how they fit into theirs. Whereas Millson is much less secure, and feels threatened by Wisteria's apparent competence. Which he expresses as derision.
