After posting yesterday's poll, I came up with a few new possible pairings. So I'm narrowing this down some and splitting out the Book 2 possibilities because there's more of them.

Suggest you need "Silver" in book #2's title as well, that's "glue" that hold the series together.

I'm sorry, I read "Golden Eggs" and I start seeing Dr. Seuss illustrations. *hangs head* Meanwhile, "Birthright" edged out "Legacy" only barely. Because it felt like "birthright" was the more unusual word to see on a cover. (Or maybe it's just that all my Romulan STO characters have Legacy in the character select screen and I automatically associate the word with them now...)

I'm actually "it depends" on the articles. How long is the title anyway? Does the article make it more specific or more generic? That kinda thing. Like, I could see "The Silver Scales" (although I might think of judge's scales...), but "A Warlock's Birthright" makes me narrow my eyes. Longer words don't deserve articles, I guess. -_-

Just started reading ARA, had some good conversations from it already, most pleasing, thank you.
for tracking: found it from a mention on Good Book Thursdays on arghink.com, Mayish. It wasn't lately, I try to avoid finding out about new books during semester. I wouldn't be reading it now if it were in serial on liveJournal. The sequel will have to wait til Dec. Though, then I'll buy, probably both as it's looking like I'll be wanting to loan the first one out. Thank you again.

Siver Scales -strong connection to song, silver bells, plus "scales" I might assume music themes at first glance.

On the other hand I did like the possibilities in Silver Scales / Golden Eggs depending on how eggs and scales reflect in the stories. Else Birthright over Legacy, though not excited about either. Strongly prefer no article on all. For titles in general, though I like it on ARA as it implies the possiblities of many other possible RAs.
